Inside Tahoe Donner Resort
Using the Resort Amenities
Tahoe Donner is a private resort. To get access to resort amenities, you need to either live here or be renting a home here. When renting at Peaceful Pines, you will receive a guest amenity pass that will grant you access to all Tahoe Donner amenities. There is still a daily fee for using the facility. Currently the fees are $6 to $8 per person per day. Golf, equestrian activities, and rental equipment are extra of course.

Check the links for operating dates and times. They change with the weather.

Winter Activities
• Down hill skiing. Great place for beginners, children, or for a fast afternoon stretch.
Cross country skiing. This place is massive and offers every terrain you could want. Rentals and lessons available.
• Anybody with kids that has played in the snow on the side of the road will tell you that an open field with those spinning saucers of death are not a relaxing afternoon. Especially when the activity ends up in the doctors office. That can all be avoided at the Tahoe Donner snow play area. It doubles as the driving range in the summer, and is a fabulous place to take small children. There is plenty of parking close by so no need to get in a bad mood walking to the activity. You rent an inter tube there.

Summer Activities
• A stunning 18-hole championship golf course, with lessons, driving range, pro shop, and rentals is located in the middle of the resort.
• There are three swimming pools to chose from: Lap Pool, heated, open year around, Recreation Pool & Northwoods Pool, heated open during the summer. There are 3 spas, a steam room and a sauna within the Trout Creek complex.
• The Trout Creek Recreation Center offers a complete gym with a Cardio Room that has dozens of machines facing outside through floor to ceiling windows. The Weight Room has both free weights and cable machines. Between the two rooms, this gym is extremely well equipped and seemingly never too busy. The Rec Center also offers a number of fitness classes as well as a staff of certified massage therapists.
• Beach club and marina at Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner has a beach club and marina located at the east end of Donner Lake, next to the Donner Lake State Park and Memorial. This is a great place to bring your small (0 to ~12) children to play in the water for the day. They also offer windsurfing or sailing lessons. They rent: kayaks, pedal boats, windsurfers, and paddle boards. There are clean restrooms. Large grassy areas for stretching out. The Marina Grill offers up a traditional grill lunch menu with beer and wine. They have picnic tables and BBQ's. In the water is a roped off play area (small kids) and a platform for the larger kids to jump off.
Northwoods Nature Trail Loop--great to stretch the legs. It's about an hour round trip if you take your time. Lots to see.
• If you like hiking, you need to look at the Tahoe Donner Trail System. There are over 30 miles of multi use trails through out the resort. They range from a casual 1-hour walk to an aggressive all day adventure. The trail system is very well marked, but bring a map.
• Bike riding around Donner Lake is now easy with rental at the Beach Club & Marina.
